Born in Salzburg; currently living in Vienna
- Violin and guitar lessons from 1979 at the "Musikum Salzburg" and at the "Mondsee State Music School"
Participation in chamber music ensembles and orchestras ("Upper Austrian State Youth Symphony Orchestra", "Kantorei Mondsee"...)
Prize winner in the “Jugend Musiziert” competition
- Jazz guitar and music education studies at the "Mozarteum" Salzburg, at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, at the "Hanns Eisler" University of Berlin with Martin Myron Kelner, Peter Legat ("Count Basic"), Jeanfrancois Prins, graduation Jazz guitar in 1997 "summa cum laude", degree in music education in 2006 (Mag.art.)
- Since the early youth active in numerous jazz, pop, funk, soul, rock and blues formations in Salzburg, Vienna and Berlin
